The Swiss Federal Railways (CFF/SBB) network is one of the world's best. From Geneva Airport (GVA) station (located UNDER the airport, accessible by escalator from arrivals), direct InterCity (IC) trains depart every 30 minutes to Lausanne · running time 35-45 minutes depending on the service.
